Local favorite Generations - Mineral Capital Concerts

Get into Bancroft 's summer spirit with live outdoor music, every Wednesday night at Millennium Park.

Set on the banks of the York River, Millennium Park is the premier outdoor venue for Mineral Capital Concerts.

The 2017 season kicks-off on July 5th and continues for the next nine weeks.  It's all live and it's all free and if you feel like dancing, that's free too. Get your groove on and be a part of the celebration!  All concerts begin at 7:00 pm at Millennium Park. Click on the performers at left for more information.

The concert committee is pleased to be organizing the music for the Bancroft Art & Craft Guild Summer Show and Sale.  The show takes place in Millennium Park on the Civic long weekend, Saturday August 5th 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday August 6th 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.  Drop by to hear some great music and purchase some amazing work by over 60 vendors.

The History Buffs are a Family group of Mother/Father/Son who play music about Canada and it's History. We are in costumes and play antique instruments.

We are a fun interactive band bringing the history of Canada to your audience. Songs of voyageurs/loggers/waterways/pioneers. We were recently commissioned to create a show for the History Museum by our Nations Capital for their Fraser River Gold Rush Exhibit! It was really fun and playing by Bill Reids sculptures under the Totem poles overlooking the Ottawa River is a treat that we have done many times and always look forward to. We play not only historic facilities but many festivals where the AD is looking for something a little different to bring to their festival audience and we are regulars at the Deep River Summerfest!
